This site may become a public repository of all information about figs. The creator of this site is not a fig expert, but merely a novice hobbyist. All viewers of this site are encouraged to become contributors/editors.
I think wikis can work out well (and with an active community with appropriate expertise, can be self-correcting over time, despite accuracy not being assured at any one moment).
Not sure what format to use, but I'll try out an alphabetical list, with any name in the left column, and synonyms separated by commas in the next column to the right.
